Our Wines

Primordium Cellars opens up a new era in Nebraska's grape and wine legacy by releasing wines made entirely from grapes bred specifically for our unique climate. This wine is a blend of red hybrids from owner Ed Swanson's breeding program that are yet unnamed. It is represented by grapes from many backgrounds and this definitely shows itself in the finish.

Ed’s breeding program has melded classic European grapes with the fortitude and adaptability of our native vines, to give us the best of both worlds. Our Temparia is truly an example of combinations of its American Mother and its Spanish Father. Enjoy this bold new red with tomato based pasta dishes, spicy fare, lamb, grilled beef or ribs

This dry red has a big round middle that finishes long and smooth. Drink now or age up to two years. Alc. 13.2%
